Co-Parenting Therapy (Post Divorce Therapy)

Divorce is change, and with that change it can bring a myriad of new issues neither partner ever expected. Whether it be new parenting strategies, relating to your former partner, or managing priorities, this therapeutic process can be a way for all parties involved to compromise towards a better tomorrow.

Your First Session

In your first sessions with Dr. Rougeaux-Burnes, both individuals will work towards establishing boundaries and expectations for their children and respective households. This process will initially be done without the children present. After negotiating and establishing appropriate boundaries, Dr. Rougeaux-Burnes will assist both parents in implementing, altering, and solidifying those boundaries in a smooth and appropriate manner. Therefore, as problems arise in this process, all individuals will have appropriate skills, and an expert facilitator, to make those changes concrete.
